Living in Chico State Dorms–Whitney Hall

Whitney Hall Chico StateWhitney Hall at Cal State Chico is the largest dorm on campus.  The residence hall opened in 1969 and houses around 540 students.  Whitney Hall is the largest building north of Sacramento.  The dorm has nine co-ed floors, each with two resident advisors.  The residence hall also provides weekly meal plans for students.

Whitney Hall also holds a Recreational Sports floor that consists of 64 first-year students and two resident advisors.  Students living on this floor share common interest in recreational sporting activities. The resident advisors provide opportunities for the students on this floor to join teams, play sports, and explore other activities on and off campus. The students on this floor build a strong community through these types of  activities.

If you plan on attending Cal State Chico, definitely check out Whitney Hall for housing for your first year of college.
